Hornet Fitness offers cutting-edge fitness classes to the DSU community, with formats spanning early morning through late evening. Certified instructors provide quality workouts, and classes include modifications for all fitness levels. All Wellness & Recreation memberships include group fitness classes; drop-in passes are $10 per class.

AquaFIT

A low- to medium-impact shallow water class that promotes joint flexibility, range of motion, and agility while building cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength.

Relax, stretch, and tone muscles in this mixed fitness session designed to enhance your mental, physical, and spiritual fitness.

Hornet Cycling

An innovative cycling class with hill climbs, fast flats, and exhilarating finishes focusing on speed, power, intensity, and technique — a great cardio workout that can burn up to 600 calories per class.

HIIT Fit

The ultimate High Intensity Interval Training class — a 45-minute cardio and strength-based class that dynamically tests your fitness. Bring water and a towel.

Circuit Training

A circuit-style workout with low-intensity cardio and easy strength-training intervals. Light weights are used to sculpt your body while burning fat and toning muscle.
