The Navigate application helps you engage with students in various capacities related to academic advisement. Faculty mentors primarily submit Ad Hoc alerts; those alerts and reports are used to improve student support and retention while guiding students throughout their educational experience.
1 — Navigate Access: Logging into the System
You can access Navigate on the web directly at desu.campus.eab.com, or:
- Go to desu.edu.
- Click the Faculty tab to reach the Faculty landing page.
- Click "Academic Early Alert System — EAB Navigate."
- Log in with your DESU credentials at the single sign-on page.

2 — Issuing an Ad Hoc Alert
Ad hoc alerts let faculty and staff share critical information and create referrals for students between support offices. To create one:
- On your home page, click "Issue an Alert" under the "Actions" tab to open the Alert Banner.
- Search for the student the alert is about, select your reason for the alert, and optionally select the related class.
- Include "Additional Comments" to help support officers understand the student's needs and how to help.
- Click Submit.
